This song is a reminder to us when we are cast down and disquieted, when we feel all is loss, everything is gone, nothing is worth living for.
I tell us we have a hope, hope that is an anchor for our souls, it reaches not into the bottom of the sea but into the sanctuary, behind the curtain. That's the curtain which God tore in two when Christ cried out on the cross "it is finished."
